ISES Amplifies the Voice of Youth and Solar Energy at COP30 in Brazil
As the Solar World Congress 2025 (SWC2025) in Fortaleza concludes, the global spotlight now moves to COP30 in Belém, Brazil, continuing the urgent conversation on climate action and renewable energy.
At COP30, ISES proudly showcased the leadership of young professionals in the solar sector. Dr. Aline Kirsten, Young ISES Representative and Marília Braga of Associação Brasileira de Energia Solar – ABENS, presented critical insights on the expansion of solar energy in Brazil. Central to their contribution was the Young ISES Manifesto, a forward-looking call to action for accelerating the global energy transition, which can be viewed here --> Young ISES Declaration
Their presentation, titled "Moving the World to 100% Renewable Energy," emphasized practical strategies and innovative solutions to achieve a fully renewable future. The full presentation can be watched here: https://youtu.be/BtJoql6jLLM where ISES and ABENS are introduced.
Continuing a long-standing partnership, ISES joined forces with Solar Cookers International (SCI) at COP30 to demonstrate solar solutions and highlight the transformative potential of renewable energy technologies in everyday life.
From SWC2025 to COP30, ISES brings a clear and urgent message:
➡️ A world powered entirely by renewable energy is not only achievable—it is essential. Solar energy lies at the heart of this transformation, and the moment to act is now.
