Solar Energy is the official journal of ISES that is devoted exclusively to the science and technology of solar energy applications. Every month we release a new issue with the latest research on solar energy innovations. 

The Journal invites submissions that cover various aspects of solar energy research, development, application, measurement, or policy. Solar Energy welcomes previously unpublished manuscript that can be original study reports or reviews of significant prior work in a specific area. All manuscripts will be reviewed to ensure accuracy, clarity, and enduring value of the articles.

The Journal welcome especially contributions that endorse and promote the UN' sustainable development goals, with a specific focus on SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Published continuously since 1957, Solar Energy is one of the leading journals in its field, with a CiteScore of 12.6 and an Impact Factor of 6.6.
