The Global Solar Council (GSC) has named Jodie Roussell its new Cheif Executive Officer, effective 01 August 2017.
Prior to her current role as Head of Public Affairs for Trina Solar in Europe, Africa & Latin America, Roussell was co-founder of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the European campaign the Alliance for Affordable Solar Energy (AFASE). She also served as Head of Energy Utilities & Technology at the World Economic Forum, and led Strategy & Corporate Development at JA Solar.
ISES is a founding member of the GSC, a non-profit founded in 2015 to coordinate the international advocacy efforts of the world's solar energy associations.

She brings with her a background of strong leadership and experience that will ensure the success of the mission of the GSC and help advance global solar markets and solar energy deployments.
