Short Description
Dr. Klaus Pottler holds a degree in physics and a PhD from the University of Würzburg, Germany. From 2002 to 2013 he worked for the German Aerospace Center (DLR) on the qualification of concentrating solar thermal systems at the Plataforma Solar de Almeria, Spain. Since 2007 he has been managing director of CSP Services, which he founded together with colleagues from DLR. The activities of his teams in Germany and Spain include scientific and commercial projects in the field of concentrating solar technologies worldwide. Klaus has more than 25 years of experience in solar collector design, testing and modeling, qualification and performance improvement, measurement campaigns and system implementations at solar thermal power plants and production sites worldwide, as well as in technical consulting, project management and international business management.
