The 5th edition of the Microgrid Global Innovation Forum, September 4-6, 2017 in Barcelona, will focus on microgrid advances, case studies and applications in EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. The emphasis is on optimizing the business model for a range of microgrid deployments, maximizing the use of renewable and distributed energy resources, and sharing real-world case studies in both grid-tied and off-grid/remote environments.

Two days of in-depth presentations and discussion panels will be preceded on Monday, September 4, with a pre-conference workshop on “Women Leadership in Clean Energy Development.”  The workshop will be followed by a tour of the Microgrid Living Laboratory at the Catalonia Energy Research Institute (IREC)’s research facility in Barcelona.
