9. Distribution of Information

For information of interested experts and the public, FIDE publishes different magazines and newsletters. Until the year 2001, 41 issues of the magazine "EnergĂ­a Racional" (subscriptions under http://www.fide.org.mx/suscripcion.html) have been distributed, 109 newsletters NOTFIDE, 59 technical magazines, and 242 case sheets have been spread over 49 million times. As other means of information dissemination, radio, TV, videos, the press and participation with stands in different events have been used. Further, there are educational games for children on saving energy, permanent exhibitions on the topic in 25 major children's museums and science and culture centres. Also teaching materials have been developed to help teachers dealing with this topic.
