8. Education

To create a conscience for energy saving issues in children already, FIDE realised the EDUCAREE ("Education for saving and rational use of electric energy") programme. In this area, FIDE works with teachers, schools, and parents. There are permanent expositions on the topic in 25 museums and science centres. Through 292 centres for teachers 24.000 teachers and one million pupils were reached, 12 leaflets and 3 videos were published.
