7. Capacity Building

In the area of capacity building, FIDE realises seminars on energy saving, courses and workshops with business, institutions of higher education and professional associations. Such courses and workshops cover a broad range of topics like energy saving in refrigeration, bioclimatic architecture, energy saving in public lighting, non-residential buildings or hotels, etc. Through 1.200 courses, workshops and seminars that have been organised by FIDE, 20.000 people were reached so far.

CONAE holds technical seminars on specific topics like air conditioning, and courses on energy saving, etc., are realised. Further, regional events, e.g., the energy saving week of Puebla, are realised in cooperation with the local offices.
