 | The ISES Solar World Congress, held biennially since the 1950's embodies the spirit of international communication advanced by the Society. Its objective is to maintain constant communication between the research community, industrial and political players. The ISES Solar World Congress 2009 was a great success. Over 450 delegates from 75 different countries gathered in Johannesburg, South Africa for the 29th biennial Congress with the theme "Renewable Energy Shaping Our Future".
